Chevy 2002 Olympic Torch Relay Tour

The Chevy 2002 Olympic Torch Relay Tour was GM's largest tour, to date. For 65 days in 46 states, we created two tours — a smaller one that followed the torch for daytime setups at Chevy dealerships along the route each day. Then a larger nighttime setup that was executed each evening in the city that the torch came in to rest for the night, as part of that host city's celebration. Additional vehicles were sent out ahead of the torch to ramp up excitement and supplement the tour, such as wrapped RVs with activities inside hitting all the Chevy dealerships on the route, as well as a Signature Corvette Z06.

This coffee table book was created to honor the dealers by giving them a book that commemorates the Relay that they were a part of, with photos that focused on the daytime celebrations held at dealerships along the route.
